How amazon measure my package for clothing?
My product is women's clothing tank top
I found out last week that its delivery fee is 6.83. It's scary high
So I asked the warehouse guy to retest, but still got 6.83. Finally asked them to provide a picture of the retest. It was found that they tried to take the product out of the package to measure the length and width, and finally put it in the package at will to measure the height of the vehicle.
If I'm selling a 2 meter dress. Is the shipping fee $20?

This is why packaging yourself for FBA is super important. You choose how much space the product is going to take. Shipping is based on the size of the package. So, if you want your shirt to be "smaller", fold it and put it in a smaller poly bag. I've known some clothing items to come rolled up.

Hi @Seller_PkQHdCanm3oxc,
Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help! @Seller_z3XfkorVSmnEY provided some good advice.
I would highly recommend you got the product shipped to your place of business and package and label yourself. This link Packaging apparel, fabric, and textiles should provide great info!
Best,
Dominic
