New order got assigned automatically to self ship, though easy ship is enabled
Hi Sellers,
I’m a new seller on Amazon and we were successfully able to list and sell one of our products and the shipping was taken care by amazon via Easy ship, as we sellected ’ self ship and easy ship’ in shipping settings.
Good so far.
However recently we listed a 2nd product, a "Simple Nylon Rope’ nothing hazardous or harmful.we received first order for this listing and the shipping got assigned automatically to ‘self ship’, but we actually wanted ‘easy ship’.
I have gone through all the easy ship restrictions and the new product does not fall under any of those categories.
Both, the pickup address and the delivery address are serviceable as per easy ship, because we were able to ship the previous product via easy ship without any issues.
So, why did this new product shipping has come under self ship? when the product comply with easy ship rules.
Any guidance would be helpful here

Hai, please check the price of the second product -simple Nylon rope. If the price is very less(say Rs. 250 or Rs.300) amazon will allocate that shipping to self ship. I guessed so, because the same scenario happened to me for one of my products. I removed the product from listing, the reason is through self ship of that product was a loss. Just check it.

It is because the customer address doesn’t fall under amazon configured area, thats why amazon made it self ship, kindly do setting under self ship like in what area you can ship if amazon cant ship on particular area

Change the self ship to migrated by editing the inventory option

Sometimes it’s amazon wish to get it assign for easy ship or self ship.
Main cause for assigning easy ship order as self ship order that easy ship or ATSPL is unable to deliver the order to the location .
In your case there may be some other case.
As you have opt-in both of the cases easy ship and self ship so you can get both order as per amazon
