Pending orders for two months

Some of my orders pending for a long time (2 months) what is the reason for that ? I want either the products or the money. It comes to me that some buyers that are not buyers but sellers in the same list are misusing Amazon's policy to keep my product as hostage. If so this not fair at all.

It could be sellers yes - but how would you prove that?

Amazon have a pretty good page explaining Pending Status now. There's nothing you can really do aside from increase the stock level to account for those in Pending then hope the order stays in Pending if you then sell out in the meantime.

This is quite common, we can have pages of pending orders, and I think the record we had was 3 months. There is nothing you can do about this unfortunately, even if you zero the stock, the pending orders still remain.

It is a tactic used by competitors from time to time, you can limit the damage by setting a maximum order quantity which prevents them from putting your entire inventory into pending.

Hi, you can report instances of potential competitor inventory hold abuse to amazon directly by going to Account Health, Report Abuse of Amazon Policies, 'A competitor is placing orders to hold my inventory.' Hopefully this helps, also placing max order qty's is a good idea to stop unscrupulous sellers from doing this to hold your stock hostage.

I am not sure how it works at the moment, but I had a pending status for over 21 days for some orders a few months ago. I opened the case and Amazon canceled the orders.
