I am someone who does not live in the UK but owns a company there. I haven't listed any products yet, and I plan to sell using the FBA business model. I believe I need to register for VAT for this.
Consultants are asking for very high fees, £400 - xxxx.
Is there anyone who can provide detailed information about the VAT registration process?
Can I sell on FBA without a VAT registration?
According to HMRC guidelines, they require invoices, but since my company is newly established, I don't have any invoices registered to the company.

You need to go to the HMRC website, and specifically VAT registration for NETP's.
Can I sell on FBA without a VAT registration? - No, not if you are going to store your goods in UK for FBA.
Consultants are asking for very high fees, £400 - you need to account for any fees as a business expense, along with all the other FBA fees you will be paying for.
