Receving times in IND9, LAS1, SCK4, GYR3 etc...

I've had an LTL shipment sitting delivered at SCK4 (Stockton, CA) for about 3 weeks. I have a 40 ft container leaving China currently also destined for SCK4. If I recreate the shipment today it'll go to LAS1. Both warehouses appear to have significant delays. Shipping containers are astronomically expensive to keep unloaded.

Alternatively, Amazon is recommending I instead choose IND9 for "Faster receive times". It'll almost double my shipping costs. However, more importantly, will IND9 actually receive a container quickly 45 days from now?

I'm debating shipping all of my products on pallets within a container, unloading the container, then trucking it to IND9, verses shipping all of products floor loaded in the container to Amazon. Floor loaded requires I keep the container until Amazon is ready. Pallets are more expensive with extra USA labor but at least I can return the container.

Any thoughts? Thanks!

No one guarantees that Amazon will direct the shipping plan to IND9 whe you will be ready.

I have shipments going into SCK4 lately taking forever to receive in. One shipment sent mid-April. Now 5 weeks later and they haven't started receiving it in yet. Over 4K units just sitting there. Very frustrating!

Good morning @Seller_A4pzz7EqhFVvb

There have been more threads recently about delayed receiving times at specific FCs in California (a few of which you mentioned). Without full visibility it's hard to say why exactly these delays are occurring (could be FC specific issues, time of year, etc). Based on your post it sounds like you have a thorough alternate plan, I think ultimately it comes down to cost vs potential time it might take for the shipment to be received. Oddly enough, IND9 was one of the FCs in the past that sellers would often post about receiving delays, but that seems to have quieted down in the last year.

Regardless, whatever option you choose, I wish you the best of luck! If you run into any specific issues in which I can be of service, please feel free to ping me here!

IND9 seems to be the go-to for Amazon right now. I usually ship to Phoenix or Las Vegas, but Amazon has been recommending IND9 due to "significant delays in receiving ".

I paid the 2x cost option for "faster receive times" for an SPD shipment to IND9 which was delivered 4 days ago. Still waiting to move to checkin status.

My last few SPD shipments (CA and NV based FCs) that I did NOT opt for the 2x cost option, checkin and receiving happened the same day.

There should be an option to view estimated receiving time for standard vs. expedited (instead of just "faster receive time") to make a more informed decision when booking the shipment. There should also be some sort of SLA guarantee that if the receiving time isn't met for the expedited option, the difference in cost is refunded.
