I need to merge two ASINs!
There are two ASINs that need to be merged. I am the brand owner. The target ASIN that I created in my catalogue GTIN exempt needs the source ASIN merged into it so I can attach the UPC to it and start sending inventory without needing an FNSKU.
The response I got after uploading a duplicate analysis states "Thanks for reaching out. Upon reviewing the ASINs we have a non-overridable blocker called WebsiteRejectedFilter, RetailDeprecationFilter, ItemClassificationFilterAllMarketplaces failed that blocks us from merging one of the ASIN pair, already have given below is the explanation of these blocker. Even if we try to change the Source and Target and then if we try to merge the ASIN also getting an error."
Can someone please help me with this!

Hello,
The challenges you're facing with the WebsiteRejectedFilter, RetailDeprecationFilter, and ItemClassificationFilterAllMarketplaces are indeed complex, but I'll do my best to assist you.
Understanding the Blockers: The blockers you mentioned are typically automated checks put in place by the marketplace to ensure data consistency and quality.
WebsiteRejectedFilter: This could be related to discrepancies between the product details on your website and the marketplace.
RetailDeprecationFilter: This usually indicates an issue with a product being phased out or replaced in the marketplace's catalog.
ItemClassificationFilterAllMarketplaces: This suggests there might be a classification issue affecting multiple marketplaces.
Resolving the Issue:
Check for Inconsistencies: Ensure all product details are consistent across your website and the marketplace. Any discrepancy in the product name, description, or specifications could trigger these filters.
Update Product Information: If the product is being updated or replaced, make sure that the most current version of the product is accurately represented in both ASINs.
Correct Classification: Verify that both ASINs are correctly classified in all marketplaces. Misclassification can lead to issues in merging.
Next Steps:
Contact Support with Specifics: Since the issue involves specific filters and ASINs, I recommend reaching out to the marketplace’s seller support team again. Provide them with detailed information about the steps you have taken to resolve the inconsistencies.
Documentation: Gather all relevant documentation such as UPC codes, product details, and any previous correspondence with the support team. This will help in making your case stronger.
Consider Professional Help: If the issue persists, you might want to consider consulting with a professional who specializes in marketplace listings. They can provide more targeted assistance and potentially expedite the resolution process.
I understand this situation can be frustrating, but with careful attention to detail and thorough communication with the marketplace’s support team, it should be possible to resolve these blockers and successfully merge your ASINs. If there's anything more specific you would like to know or if you encounter any further challenges, feel free to reach out.
