BEWARE: NEW Account Health Notification of Late Shipment Rate POLICY

Sold items are shipped out every day 5 years now. Cut off at 2pm.

Amazon suddenly changes policy in Shipping:

Transit Time / excluding handling time became: Managed by Amazon.

We got a Shipping Performance in our Heath account ping: Late Shipment Rate 1.44%.

Our account health performance has a bad performance for Late Shipment Rate of 1.44% because three items bought (example=) today, did not get the tracking numbers in the system, today.

According to Managed by Amazon, since we've had excellent shipping times, they've made is so if we can not or do not send an item out same day for ANY reason OR the tracking numbers are not issued in the system (that according to seller support is unmistaken) the same day you get a health account ping for Late Shipment Rate.

This can not be changed according to seller support:

We have reviewed your account health, and upon investigation, there are three orders marked as late, and you shipped the order on the same date but confirmed shipment late on system. Due to that, the account health got impacted. You have to ship and confirm the orders as per the expected date and time to avoid a late shipment rate. Currently, no action is needed from you.

Also, I would like to inform you that the scores once captured cannot be altered. However, by following certain preventive measure and next course of actions we can improve and maintain a healthy score.

I will guide you where you can see the ship date on which you confirmed the shipment. Please follow the steps.

Go to > Orders > Manage orders > Put the order ID: 111-6945279-2561024 and search > Scroll down and check the ship date. Order ship by date: Fri, Dec 15, 2023 to Fri, Dec 15, 2023 and you shipped or confirm shipment on Sat, Dec 16, 2023. Hence, it was marked as late.

Thank you for taking the time to seek assistance with maintaining your Account Health.

Ship by: Fri, Dec 15, 2023

Deliver by: Thu, Dec 21, 2023

Purchase date: Thu, Dec 14, 2023, 12:51 PM PST

Ship dateSat, Dec 16, 2023

Tracking ID9549015805173349751969

How can this be policy??? Our shipping is marked "Managed by Amazon" and we HAVE TO ship all sold items the same day which includes handling time??? otherwise...?

Sending same day orders out was a choice. Now it's a rope around our neck.

You should be able to go here and change your handling time to 1-day so that you don't have to ship out same day. If you need longer than that, you can use the Price and Quantity template to set a longer handling time at the SKU level. Just be aware that any orders with a Premium shipping method have to ship out same day no matter what.

Hi @Seller_f230iEOxANw9R,

I understand you are dealing with a Late Shipment Rate (LSR) issue.

View post

There is a 10 day and 30 day window during which any late orders will affect the LSR metric. The target for both of these windows is under 4%. You may be facing a scenario where one window is above the metric target which is why you most likely received the notification. After these 10 and 30 day windows have passed, all affected orders will fall off the downloadable report and will no longer affect the LSR at that point in time. Once these orders roll off, you will see the metric come back toward the target of 4%. Additionally, any orders fulfilled on time will also assist with bringing the metric back to the goal as well.

In their post, @Seller_f4a7xAPCCSMqD provided excellent guidance on adjusting both handle time for the overall account as well as the additional time you can add for each individual listing from the inventory page. Additionally, you may also utilize the Order Capacity option if needed.

You may see a banner stating "Your Account is at risk". Within that banner, you may end up seeing a yellow "Submit appeal" button. If this button does populate, you will need to take action on the account by following the workflow page you will see after clicking on that button. If no such button is visible within the banner, you will not need to take any action.

Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or account updates, and we will assist you as best we can.

Regards,

Troy

I am with your @Seller_f230iEOxANw9R

Amazon sitting on their B*** can change anything anytime.

We seller have been treated as slave and somehow they kneel us down to follow what ever Amazon say or create .

We have mole in our house who cry when facing problem and laugh when another seller get in trouble.

@Seller_f4a7xAPCCSMqDthat can be changed but what about ODR due to delay. Can we reverse that ? NO

@Troy_Amazonnothing can be reverse . Shipping template was messed on our account and we have 4 orders which were delayed due amazon internal system which will take 30 days to get rid off from account. Till than ODR will stick to us and we will not get our buy now button.

We contacted amazon Representative about that issue before shipping order but LIKE ALWAYS AMAZON SELLER SUPPORT ARE VERY NAIVE AND CANT SUPPORT . All they have to say is unofficial advice .

NOTE for FELLOW SELLERS

If you missed shipping date , please cancel the order and you will get out of ODR in 7 days

But if you ship item late shipping you will be stuck with ODR for 30 days.

Good luck brother and sister .

Hope amazon will learn soon and change the policy like any other marketplace or go back to garage book sales, lol

I guess I don't understand the discrepancy here. We have the same shipping schedule...same day shipped if purchased by 2pm PST. Here it looks like it was purchased before 2pm so the label should have been created and shipped on Thursday...everything after 2pm should be created and shipped by Friday. If you can't keep that schedule then change your handling time or same day cutoff to an earlier time.
