I had a customer receive their shipment damaged and I offered to send out a replacement. Is there a process within Amazon to send a replacement, or do I just send it on my own? The customer messaged me with a replacement request but there is no option anywhere to send it to them.

NEVER EVER do anything outside of Amazon. You ask the buyer to request a return and as they do, they can opt for a replacement or refund. You will then see a replacement order in your awaiting orders. Anything you do outside of Amazon will not end well.

Here is the help page for processing replacements for seller-fulfilled orders, and I would second the guidance that managing replacement orders outside Amazon may be seen as a policy violation.
