Amazon Buyer Returns - Getting a small notebook back instead of product. Anyone else?

Hello All

I have gotten two different returns in the last ten days and instead of getting the purchased product back, I received the notebook in the picture below. The original orders were FBM. They were for different products. One return was from CA and the second return was from KY.

It seems like someone is drop shipping my products and then making a return claim and sending a version of the notebook below. Amazon has approved both of my Safe-T Claims.

Is anyone getting these notebooks back?

Thoughts?

Have a great week!

@Seller_XjolGGpui9INo- Can you please share the order IDs with me as well?

Just confirming your cases were added to my broader escalation of this situation. Glad the SAFE-T claim portion was taken care of.

Hi folks,

If you have commented on here and shared your Order ID and photos of a return that included Pokémon notepads/deflated balloons, please know that I have included it in my escalation for further investigation. Thank you for your help in reporting suspected buyer abuse!

Respectfully,

Xander

Thank you for sharing this. We have now received 3 of these as returns and are about to file for SafeT. It's frustrating

As an update, the escalation is under investigation. Thank you again for coming to the Forums and reporting it! Should you receive more packages with Pokémon notepads or deflated balloons, please:

1) Tag me

2) Include the Order ID and Safe-T claim number (if applicable) associated with those items

3) Pictures of the notepads/balloons.

So I spoke the a SAFE-T claims specialist and asked what sellers can do in the meantime as they continue investigating: Sellers have the option to charge a re-stocking fee up-to a 100% for a materially different return. If the buyer raises an A-to-Z claim and is granted, sellers can appeal to the claim decision via Seller Central. In case when a seller fails to issue the refund in the same case and Amazon issues it on their behalf, they can file a SAFE-T claim.

I did recieve an update this morning from the escalations team and this situation is still under investigation. I'll circle back once I have more information.
