How do I freeze my seller account for a few months? Step by step?

I just want to put it on hold until after the first of the year. Can someone walk me through how to do that step-by-step?

There is no such mode as "freeze"

You can put your account on vacation and that will prevent FBM orders (will not affect FBA)

But you must still respond to buyers regarding returns or questions.

If you are on the professional plan, you will still accrue the monthly fee.

Hi @Seller_BqiWil6UaSg1Z,

Steve from Amazon here, thanks for the question. As some sellers have mentioned, Vacation status is probably the best path here. Please see this resource for step-by-step instructions.

Things to remember while your listings are inactive

You must process return requests and respond to messages from customers within 24 hours, even if your listings are set to Inactive. You can update your settings to receive return request emails with links to Authorize, Close, or Reply, and you can have Amazon automatically authorize return requests. Learn more about automating returns.

You can still create and edit listings while your listings are Inactive. Additions and changes will be reflected on Amazon when you change your Listings Status back to Active.

Please let me know if there are any questions.

Thanks,

Steve
