The US is a Free Market economy. The government will certainly step in in cases of fraud or other mis-doings; "Low prices" is not something that the government will, nor should, base any actions on (other than possible red flag for further investigation).
Heck, if "Low Pricing" was a reason to shut down a business, because it hurt other businesses, Amazon itself would have never made it off the starting block (back when it was actually cheaper than B&M bookstores)
