Unauthorized Seller Hijacked Our Listing (Brand Owner, No Canada Trademark)

Hello everyone,

We are the rightful owner of a private label brand and are currently facing a **listing hijacking issue** on Amazon Canada.

An **unauthorized seller** is offering counterfeit products under our ASIN, even though their items are completely different in material, packaging, and quality. Our product is custom-made and sold as a complete set, using special materials and components. The hijacker is offering generic, ready-stock items of much lower quality, fulfilled by merchant (FBM).

We submitted a case to Amazon support, but since we do not yet have a **registered trademark in Canada**, we were redirected to Brand Registry tools, which we cannot access.

**Case ID: 18127992111**

We would appreciate any help or advice on the following:

- How can we report and remove this unauthorized seller if we don’t have local brand registration?

- Is there any alternative route to escalate this issue without access to the "Report a Violation" tool?

- Has anyone successfully handled a similar hijacking situation under these conditions?

We are ready to provide all necessary proof, including invoices, product images, and brand ownership documents.

Thank you in advance!

Hi @Seller_fw5Q7dHG164JP

Sandy from the community manager team here. Thank you for your post.

for this situation, I recommend going through the Report abuse feature. Complete a test buy and select "The product received is different than the product on the detail page (different version, model or product"

When doing this please make sure you only state FACTS to how the product is different from what is shown on the detail page. Ex: Material, size, etc. Pleas make sure that it also states that in the detail page as well.
