Product visibility in the catalog

Hello. I'm a new seller. I added some products 2 days ago. When adding products, I added keywords by which my products can be found. I can't find my products through search. Even when I check the “newest first” filter, I don’t see my products. Maybe I need to wait a while? How many days should I wait for products to become visible in the catalog and to be found by keywords? Please give me some advice.

",,, I added keywords by which my products can be found. I can't find my products through search. "

How about that. With 6.3 million sellers on the Amazon site, key words are just about useless. There are only so many words in the English language, so what words to you think you are using that 2 million other sellers are not using. There aren't any.

Don't think that paying a service to create key words for your product will make any difference. The words they suggest to you that have already suggested to 10,000 other sellers.

The Amazon search engine runs much more on titles than key words. A short 3-5 word title is worth it's weight in gold. Most new, and a lot of long-time sellers, spam their titles with 20+ words.

These sellers think the more words they put in the title describing their product, the more potential buyer it will attract. It doesn't work that way. Amazon will not even display the product unless the title is typed into the browser exactly as written. This alone gives the short, to the point, title a big advantage over the spammed title.

Think it over.

Hi @Seller_DwMhHrWxzCUWx,

Steve from Amazon here, thank you for reaching out. I see that case 14738424961 is open and Seller Support is providing guidance here. Please continue to monitor this case and let me know here if it is closed without the proper resolution needed. I am happy to review the case further at that point.

Thanks,

Steve
