Hey Adam,

Well, my preferred choice of selling my Branded Linens was Amazon, but I found many glitches:

1. Ads are compulsory from day one. WHY? When my product is of the best quality, same as big brands, I am priced lower than them, giving the same premium quality, so why shouldn't Organic orders flow in?

2. Speedy Operations - Packages can be handed over within 2 hours from order received, so why not Amazon prioritise such Brand sellers? And increment the same numbers as FBA sellers receive.

3. High CTRs (standard AZ claims should be above 0.4), ranging between 0.6-0.9 of our products, but the conversions are poor or zero on certain days.

4. No correlation between Glance views and Conversion. Quoting with a fact - the last 15 days of March average Glance views were ranging between 400-500, and average conversion was 2.5%. Post that, at the same glance views, conversion dropped to 1% after 3rd April.

I agree the last 15 days of March were sale events, but in BAU days, when I can fetch the same Glance views through ADs, the conversion still is not holding up to 2% even. We end up spending on ADs and days where we see ADs spend of more than Five Hundred to One Thousand INR and Orders Zero.

5. AZ claims FBA orders get 3 TIMES faster pulls, current FBA sell through less than 0.3% despite having a 4.8 Seller Score and 5 STAR Reviews on all FBA products

6. AZ account managers are only good for generating higher AD bills - (ok, I agree you have given them a P&L target of generating revenues for AZ), and they only work for 3 months with us, and in return expect no support. If the AZ account manager is confronted about the low sales, the only reply comes that you are a new seller with no reviews and feedback.

In case you want to work with the launchpad team, then be ready to flush out more margins but no sale guarantee, definitely Expenses of selling on AZ will go high to 40%.

We started selling on another platform after struggling for 6 months at AZ. Key takeaways from another platform:

1. Since the day we started an Ad Campaign, we received our first order within 2 hours. LOW ACOS Higher ROI

2. Account Manager support from the very beginning resulted in asking about certain specific products, training Ads Dashboard, and giving free credits to start an Ad at the bid of Two INR (Average)

3. Support on Catalogue or Imaging if needed

4. Twice a pick up (4 hrs pick up)

5. No need for reviews to get orders

6. Genuine feedback on how to ensure PDP is the catchy reason we are serving premium customers as our TG.

INDIAN SELLERS OR VENDORS are having a tough time selling on AZ, and forums are flooded with messages like zero sales, low sales, AZ is a fraud, Higher Ad Bills, ACOS is too high, with ROAS too low.

What are your views on it, and how do you see correcting it?

Thanks & Regards
