I recently reached out to Amazon Seller Support regarding an issue with my payment method, which is currently not working. The representative I spoke with mentioned they would look into the matter, but there were some background distractions during the call that made it difficult to communicate effectively (including what sounded like a loud chicken noise). As a result, I wasn’t able to receive the clarity I was hoping for regarding the cause of the issue or how to resolve it.
While I understand that technical difficulties can occur, I would appreciate any insight from fellow sellers on why this issue with the payment method might happen and how it can be rectified. I’m eager to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Make sure you are using a credit card and not a debit card.....

Thank you for your post. Welcome to Amazon Forums. I wanted to step in and see if I may be of assistance. Are you having issues with assigning a deposit method or credit card to your account? When you register as a seller, you must enter a credit or debit card that will accept international charges and that has a valid billing address located in an eligible country. Your credit or debit card will be billed the monthly fee (if applicable) or USD 1 (excl. VAT) for purposes of validating the card. For more information, go to Registration requirements by country.
As mentioned in this thread it must be a true credit card, not debit or prepaid.
Please provide additional information and or a seller support case ID as well.
