Identity Verification Failed - Without even submitting anything through the video call?
I am in absolute disbelief at what's going on right now. We have been selling on Amazon (started on different marketplace) over 4 years back.
On June 26th, all of a sudden we received a notification saying the documents we submitted over video call wasn't enough and hence the account is deactivated.
Except, WE NEVER HAD SUCH A CALL! We have never submitted anything via the virtual video call!
This is absolutely ridiculous and unfair and unjust. The worse of all? It has impacted our accounts on other marketplace and Amazon has blocked our accounts there as well! All but 1 account.
I am at a complete loss of words. I've begged and pleaded trying to make them understand that this is some sort of a mistake, I have never had any such video call to submit anything and they just don't believe me when I tell them!
Can any of the moderator for godsakkes please help!? This has been causing my health to deteriorate. I'm in absolute disbelief at what's happening. I am happy to submit WHATEVER it is that you need to show that my account is a LEGIT account. I have been in this business for over 37 years! WHATEVER you need, I WILL SUBMIT IT. At this point, I am willing to book a flight ticket for someone from your verification team to come visit me in my house to physically verify me if that's needed! But for heavensake STOP PLAYING AROUND WITH PEOPLE's LIVELIHOOD. PLEASE !

Can the mods please help? All but one marketplace accounts are deactivated. Someone for heavensakke's help me. My anxiety is through the roof. How in the world is it fair to be deactivating my account for absolutely no fault of mine!? In-spite of it all, I am still willing to go to whatever length is required to verify my identity. I can provide whatever identity you want.

@Sarah_Amzn, every attempt I have made to contact them, they have just passed on the buck to the account health support team. So there isn't really any case ID you can look up to get more info. The only way to go about this would be to look at my performance notifications. I have literally begged and pleaded the account health specialist to understand a very simple fact which has consistently fallen to deaf ears and I'm just in a complete dismay.
26th June was the first performance notification I received stating the documents I submitted via virtual video call are incorrect and hence my account is being deactivated. No notifications prior to that. Then how would I have possibly got on a video call to show my documents to anyone? Please explain. Just tell me if that makes any sense here.
I have spent countless hours stressing and exploring every possible avenue.
Next, on 6th July I received another notification saying the information entered in Seller Central is different from the Aadhaar card I provided. I went on my Seller Central and checked the National ID number OVER and OVER and OVER again several times and it is the same exact number. I do not know how in the world they are saying the information is different. I even resubmitted it several times and yet that isn't enough.
I have cried and begged and pleaded several times and nobody is saying anything. I literally offered a round trip air ticket for you guys to come visit me at my residence to physically verify my identity and my business address.
@Sarah_Amzn, I am really close to losing all hope in life at this point. Being in complete disbelief is a strong understatement.
How in the world is this fair for someone who hasn't done anything wrong? If I am being accused of something, shouldn't I be at least given ONE chance to defend myself?

It would genuinely mean the world to me if you can PLEASE help me.
I am fully volunteering for a live video call for verifying my identity. A call that I never had. A call that Amazon is accusing me of failing to submit the correct documentation to verify my identity. I never ever had such a video call done yet on 26th June I received a notification saying I did.

It is just unfair that every other seller here on Seller Forum was given a chance to submit the right documents and virtually verify the documents via a live video call. I remember when I opened my US marketplace account back in early 2021, I had gone through the same. In dead middle of night (due to time zone difference), I had gone through identity verification process on a live video call.
Why am I not being asked to do that again? How is someone in the backend just assuming that I am not who I say I am and I'm trying to deceive someone here? I am 68 years old, I have been running my family business for over 37 years now, please tell me why would I want to deceive anyone here? I live and breathe my business and I'm proud of what we have been able to achieve and contribute to the families of people who work under me.
All I am asking for is some fairness.
Please give me a chance to verify my identity just as you have given several other sellers a chance (I read several sellers who posted screenshots of their notification where they were given a link to schedule a call).
Just to reiterate: NO, I DID NOT SUBMIT MY DOCUMENTS ON ANY SUCH VIDEO CALL as mentioned in the first performance notification I received dated 26th June.
Please, I am pleading here. I never thought expanding to the UK marketplace would have such adverse consequences. I thought Amazon was a platform for me to take my business global. And so after seeing some amount of success in the US marketplace, I started expanding to other marketplaces and god knows I truly regret it. If you want to close my UK marketplace account, then please do so, I really don't care, but this is affecting my US marketplace account and US marketplace is my biggest marketplace and I can't afford to have that shut down. Please.

And just one other thing, I can even show my trademark for my brand "Decora Furnishings". There's a reason why I have the buy box for every single ASINs in my inventory, it's because I'm the sole seller of my ASINs. I have GTIN exemption and the trademark for it.
