Brand Registry will not allow me to connect multiple trademarks to my brand

Hello,

I have a brand (Trademark 1) in the Brand Registry that owns multiple trademarks for various products. I have been trying to connect another associated trademark (Trademark 2) to the main brand, but I have been having mixed results.

For example: "Doritos" is a brand of corn chips. "Cool Ranch" is a trademark that is applied to specific products within that brand.

When I open cases, they are telling me that I need to register Trademark 2 as a new brand. I do not want to do this because Trademark 1 is the main brand and we have already done extensive work to build out the brand store, enhanced brand content, etc. and I do not want to disconnect it from the rest of the line which I fear will result in decreased sales and searchability.

Case ID: 16709948191

Any assistance or guidance would appreciated.

If we take your "Doritos" example, it seems that this answer from SS is correct. The brand owner HAS registered BOTH as trademark.
