Advice on Picking Up Products from Local Supplier
Hello Amazon Sellers and Experts,
I hope you're all doing well. I recently identified a supplier in my city and was considering picking up products directly from them to save on shipping costs. However, before proceeding, I want to ensure that this aligns with Amazon's guidelines.
Has anyone here personally visited their suppliers to collect products? Are there any specific considerations or best practices I should keep in mind, to ensure compliance with Amazon's policies? I want to ensure a smooth process and appreciate any insights or advice you can share based on your experiences.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Amazon does not care if you pick up yourself or use a carrier. It does not matter the saving or the cost.
What it matters is if you are selling branded products, that you are approved by the brand owner or their authorized distributor to sell their products on Amazon.
If you are supplied with generic product, then they want you to list them as such. Not add yours to a listing that is branded.
Good luck.

When an issue arises in the future and Amazon wants to see where you got your products they will not be concerned with who owns the truck that brought them to you. Make sure your invoices are as they should be and you should not have any problems later.
