How to remove customer review in clear violation?
First off, I like how straight forward it is to have seller feedback removed that is in violation of Amazon's terms.
Unfortunately, I can't say the same about customer reviews that are in clear violation of Amazon's terms.
For example, I'm trying to have a review removed that contains an email address, Amazon's terms states,
"Private information
Don't post content that invades others' privacy or shares your own personal information, including:
- Phone number
- Email address
- Mailing address
- License plate
- Data source name (DSN)
- Order number"

I've opened a few cases, showing the review is in clear violation, I'm getting responses that tell me how to remove seller feedback, to use the report button on the listing (which never works) or to contact community-help@amazon.com, which I did, but haven't gotten a reply yet.
I'm just wondering why it is so difficult to have a review removed that is in clear violation - containing Private information.

Amazon reviews are PACKED FULL of "violations" of this sort. There is no way Amazon bothers removing reviews because someone was dumb enough to include personal information

Amazon does not remove product reviews unless they decide to do so for reasons of their own. It will not be in response to a seller's request or complaint. If the system allows the review to be posted -- it stays.

As others have mentioned getting product reviews removed is extremely difficult.
There is an actual email given under Amazon's → Customer product reviews help page, with instructions on how to report a suspected review violation.
Ensure to include which policy the review violates; refer to → Customer product review policies or → Inappropriate product reviews policy.
Even when following all the instructions and backing your case with policy, there doesn't seem to be a lot of success that this path works.
Your best chance may be to post your case numbers here and see if a Community Manager will assist.

Hi @Seller_wrvD7zYgfEpRL:
Tiff here from Amazon. I'd like to see if I can help you out with this. Sometimes it can be helpful for us to request another look by our internal teams. As @Medic mentioned, a case ID number will be helpful. Can you share any related cases that you've opened? I'll review those and let you know if I can take further action.
Thank you!
