"You need approval to list this ASIN" need help
I am the brand owner of dietary supplement trying to list my product on Amazon. When i try to edit my listing, i am getting "You need approval to list this ASIN". if i select "Request approval", i get message that 'We are not accepting applications to sell; Other Human Ingestible Products in New, Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)". It has been close to 3 months i am trying to resolve and opened multiple cases without any luck. All i get is, Amazon is not accepting application now for new product. But i am seeing other sellers are listing their product successfully which are similar to mine.

seems your category is saturated and you may not be using the right words if other NEW sellers are able to list - or are they existing sellers just adding a product and you are too new to the platform?

I am unable to review why you might be getting this error message as I am unable to locate a CASE ID filed with Selling Partner Support about receiving this message, however to provide some general insights, if you were not already approved to sell in the supplements category, as part of our ongoing efforts to provide the best possible customer experience, Amazon has implemented additional restrictions for ingestible supplement products.
Unfortunately, we are not accepting applications for supplements at this time. You are welcome to check back later to see if the category is accepting applications in the future.
If you list your product and believe it has been misclassified within a certain category or sub-category that requires approval, please contact Selling Partner Support with evidence, such as product pictures, to support this claim. Amazon will review your claim and make a final determination that will ensure the best shopping experience for our customers.
In previous escalations on the Seller Forums, we have seen success with clearing this process for those sellers who are Brand Registered.

- If the brand you are trying to list is already in Brand Registry AND you have a relationship with the brand, you can be added as an authorized 3rd party reseller through Brand Registry (but the brand has to add you on their end). Once that has occurred you can attempt to list again and if you still have any issues reach out to Selling Partner Support letting them know you are now in the brand's Brand Registry approved list.
