Amazon charged my card for seller fees
discussion.I am a Pro Seller on Amazon. When customers place their order they are billed for shipping and my product. When I receive the order I see what item they were charged for and what they paid for shipping and I purchase shipping labels through Amazon. Afterwards, it will show the shipping charges as an Expense and the Sales made. Once the product is delivered, minus the shipping charges, I am sent the difference in the next billing cycle. The other day, Amazon attempted to charge my Card on file for almost $250 for shipping fees from products that I recently sent out. This has NEVER happened before. The bank flagged it and I reported it as an unauthorized charge because I didn't order anything from Amazon at that price point. After my card was cancelled and I had to request a new one, I saw an email from Amazon that they were unsuccessful in charging my card for the expenses- Shipping fees, from the products sold during the billing cycle that had just closed. What?!?! I haven't been paid for the products sold yet and they have the money on hold that customers paid for shipping. I contacted them 3 times and each time I was told that until I put a new Card on file, they couldn't help me.
I was explainging that I was being charged out of pocket for shipping expenses that customers had paid and that all of the money was on hold by them until the end of their pre-determined bill cycle. When did they start doing this and why was I being charged for these fees without the money being released? They owe me money, this make no sense. No help. I just decided to wait it out until everything is settled and maybe they'll figure it out, or at the very least the account will be settled and I'd just cash out my payments as usual. I was tired of getting nowhere and stonewalled.
Wrong. Today, I wake up to see that they have charged the CC that I use for my Amazon Prime account as a buyer to take $112 in shipping fees "owed" from the seller account!! What? Again, no idea this was being charged. And they still refuse to discuss the issue until their is a valid CC on file to see my account. Even after I told them the CC was cut off because I was unaware of these charges and reported them as fraudalent.
I have no idea what to do at this point. I have current orders, that I can't see. No CC for my Bank Account for 3-5 days, and their holding all the money until Payment Cycle closes in 2 weeks.

I also woke up today with an alert from my bank saying that Amazon had tried to take $356.04 from my account . Thank goodness the bank blocked it. I also canceled my card because I was worried they would keep trying to take my money that I need to pay my bills.
Next I contacted support and I was told this was for shipping. I told him that the customer pays for shipping and that I should not be charged since the customer already paid it. He told me this is a new policy.
So now that Amazon is not only taking all the money I make and reserving it now they are charging for shipping that has already been paid for.
This is a rip off to all sellers
