Merchant Fulfillment API Versus Shipping API
We are trying to build an application to buy shipping labels from amazon. But there are two api specifications.
Merchant Fulfillment API and the order is Shipping API.
What is the difference between the two and which one should we be using as they seem to do the same work?

Greetings @Seller_6fDI8ZxqoB1f3,
Happy to jump in here and offer my thoughts.
"The Amazon Shipping API (Shipping API) is designed to support outbound shipping use cases both for orders originating on Amazon-owned marketplaces as well as external channels/marketplaces. With these APIs, you can request shipping rates, create shipments, cancel shipments and track shipments. See the Shipping API Reference for details about operations and associated data types and schemas."
The emphasized section of the quote is the difference between the two I believe, as the Shipping API allows use of external channels. It came up recently in the Veeqo "Ask Amazon Event" we held recently.
I hope this helps answer your question, let me know if you have any others!
