Amazon Keeps Wrongly Rejecting My Application to Sell Yankee Candle

I have submitted over 5 different invoices, one from yankee candle, one from boscov's, etc., and Amazon continually auto-rejects or continues to reject my invoice while approving me for every other brand I submit an application for. It is clear that they are biased in choosing to be very strict with some brands and limiting others which is INCREDIBLY unfair practice. I am asking that one of you Amazon employees please escalate my issue as I am sick of resubmitting and having to try and get new info to submit despite my invoices meeting ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS.

From Yankee Candle:

Please note that in order to become an authorized wholesale dealer, a traditional store location is required. We are currently not pursuing Amazon, Ecommerce, or other third-party resellers.

That means you are NOT authorized by them to sell on Amazon

Copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents that demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured

You invoice should include

• detailed list of products (at least 10 per item, Product name, model number or UPC that can be verified online)) ,

terms of sale (net30/net60/cash..)

• must be by the brand itself or a brand authorized distributor (not a retail store for the general public, not some back door pallet seller wanna be distributor )***

• your full business name and address, as entered in seller central

• a COMPLETED transaction ( order shipped),

• suppliers full name and contact details, (e-mail, phone or both)

• Should reflect the sales volume of your product across all Amazon marketplaces in the last 365 days

• Should demonstrate your product’s full supply chain

***Should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. We may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents

Your documents should be able to trace your products to the original manufacturer even if you did not purchase them directly from the original manufacturer. This may require requesting additional invoices or supply chain documentation from your supplier if you are not sourcing directly from the manufacturer.

Amazon is NOT "Wrongly" rejecting your attempt to sell a brand that you are not authorized to sell on Amazon. They are doing exactly what they should be.

Consider yourself lucky. There are many people whom Amazon HAS allowed to list brands for which they are not authorized (Nike is a common one; search for posts about it). These people then get shut down PERMANENTLY for selling unauthorized brands, with no way of ever hoping to sell on Amazon again, EVER. So be glad that they are rejecting you.

Now, figure out something that you can be authorized to sell, list that, and move forward. I would also suggest double checking the brands which Amazon allowed you to list; are you actually authorized BY THE BRAND to sell these items on Amazon? If not, you might want to seriously consider fully deleting all your listings for those items before you get a complaint from the brand (although to be honest, it may be too late).

In short, if you do not have written authorization FROM THE BRAND, don't try to sell it on Amazon. Do not trust Amazon to tell you what you will be able to sell without problems.

Hi there @Seller_Om528HYz06Xh0,

I'm sorry that you are frustrated with the results of your applications. In general Amazon reviews the sourcing and invoices but won't give specific information on why documents are rejected. Please note that in general retail receipts, including online retailer receipts, are not often accepted as Amazon is generally expecting distributor or manufacturer invoices.

I won't be able to speak to the specifics of your denial however if you have other questions I can attempt to address them. I apologize for any difficulties this creates. Thank you for your understanding.
