Replacement Orders Customer fails to return
I'm done with Amazon support, they are clueless. Customer request a replacement get charged for the label and customer fails to return the original item then what. If you wait to ship the item until you receive the original order you get hit with a late shipment. I don't understand. I think sellers needs to have the item before sending one out to avoid these loses because some customers are just scammers and see how many they can get away with. And when you're a non- FBA you're pretty much out of luck because the number of contradictory answers and excuses I have received don't make sense even for a person that lacks common sense. I'm frustrated.

Hello @Seller_X402rRcxpZg8e
Thank you for posting to the Forums.
I came across your thread and wanted to link this help page which provides additional detail regarding replacement orders.
For reference, when a buyer requests a free replacement for their damaged, defective, or materially different seller-fulfilled return through the Your Orders page on Amazon, we'll create a zero-value instant replacement order that you must fulfill upon receiving the replacement request. The buyer has 30 days to return the original item from the time the replacement order was shipped, using the provided Amazon prepaid return label.
To protect you from bad returns, you’ll be able to file for reimbursements via a SAFE-T Claim in cases where the condition of the original product is used or damaged by the buyer, or materially different from what was sent to the buyer. Additionally, if the buyer fails to return the original item within 30 days of the replacement order being shipped, you may be eligible for an automatic reimbursement.
Please feel free to update this thread if you have a claim that you need assistance with and I can review the correspondence already provided.
Regards,
