How to remove unverified negative review?
We are selling the product on Market place only. The person who reviewed the item is not purchased the item. And the review posted is completely baseless. Without even using the product the person gave baseless points. The activity of the person in reviews is also suspicious. Amazon is not tracking unverified reviews and more over those reviews are being calculated in the ratings also. The feedback from customers is absolutely acceptable.
Is there any option to get the review got removed? What we can do as a seller ?

The harsh reality is, we’re not really “sellers” anymore—we're treated more like sl*ves trapped in Amazon’s system. Even with Brand Registry, Amazon NOT removes fake or malicious reviews, no matter how clearly they violate guidelines.
These competitor-driven fake reviews directly impact our ratings, visibility, and sales, feeding into metrics carefully designed by Amazon. And what’s the result? We’re forced to spend more on ads just to regain lost ground—which is exactly what Amazon wants.
More ad spend = more revenue for them, while we lose money and peace of mind—all without Amazon even lifting a finger.

I understand your frustration regarding this customer review situation. While buyers can review products on Amazon regardless of where they purchased them, these reviews won't be marked as "Amazon Verified Purchase" if they didn't buy through Amazon.
If you believe the review might be inappropriate or fake, you can use the "Report abuse" link next to the review to flag it for investigation. Amazon will investigate reported reviews that may violate our guidelines.
Please note that while we can't guarantee the removal of any specific review, we do have processes in place to handle potentially inappropriate reviews.
