FBM SELLER BEING FORCED TO SHIP NEXT DAY

We are FBM and Pro-Level.

Beginning today, Thursday, 03/14/24, most of the orders I received have a REQUIRED Ship-By Date of TOMORROW, Friday, 03/15/24.

This is a change from the Normal procedure of 2-Days to ship, where orders arriving on Thursday would have a Ship-By date window of Friday to Monday.

I immediately checked my Shipping Settings, and they are still correctly set for 2-Days to process.

I checked the individual ASIN that is requiring Next-Day shipping, and the ASIN still displays as 2 (days) in the "Handling Time".

Occasionally, I work VERY HARD to complete Thursday Orders so as to Free-Up Friday for a Doctor's appointment or other Non-Amazon Business that cannot be accomplished on the weekends.

And now Amazon has taken that away from me?

WHY??????

Yes, it is true that I sometimes DO ship orders BEFORE the 2-Day deadline is reached. Sometimes on the Next-Day, and sometimes even on the Same-Day. I consider this to be EFFICIENCY, and NOT something that needs to be adjusted.

So is Amazon actually PUNISHING me for being efficient?

If I put my account on "Vacation Mode" I can NOT receive ANY orders, and so I make NO Sales, and Amazon makes NO money! I should NOT have to put my account on "Vacation Mode" to be able to arrange for a Friday without shipping!

Amazon, I WANT to be free to choose if I ship early or on the second day. How dare you take this away from me?

Is there ANY way I can FIX this and restore my shipping to 2-Days as has ALWAYS been the case since I began Selling here?

Hello @Michelle_Amazon @Quincy_Amazon @SEAmodand ANY MOD out there... I need HELP!!!

I am a small seller also, that ships usually next day, but set it for 2 days just incase something goes wrong one morning.

I have also tried to change it back, and it shows correct, but my orders page still says I will have late shipments.

I sell something unique that they will have to wait a few days for, and don't have any exact competition, so I am not worried, and I agree, just because I am efficient, shouldn't mean I have to always be. I might want to take a day off from time to time also.

I NEVER accepted "Automated" anything on Amazon.

I hope it didn't sound like I thought you had.

Amazon did this -- and I think many were hit on the same morning.

Don't know if this is a gradual roll-out or if some folks just haven't realized what has happened.

With the automated default in place, Amazon ignores the SKU-specific handling time.

basically, just like they decided they know better than you what your product is called, what brand it is, what price you can sell it for and how fast you can ship it.
