Assign Payment Method

Been working on this for over a month. Support has been very diligent in answering and trying to investigate why I'm unable to reply to security question...the fact is that when I try assign method of payment a pop-up asks me to confirm something on my cell phone, the message only shows last 2 numbers which are correct ( but I have no way to see all the asterisks before,so the problem could reside there ) when I check cell notifications there's nothing there, nothing on e-mail of record( where notifications SHOULD go ) so I'm caught in a virtual vicious circle. never being able to answer this particular notification, what is very strange is that other notifications from Amazon work fine! Spent literally hundreds of hours with scads of agents, no one has figured out the problem yet, meanwhile Amazon is charging me for a Pro Account AND an Individual account ( don't ask how that happened) even though I haven't been able to list a single item! Need some SERIOUS HELP here, frustrated to the point of absurdity, feels a bit like the Twilight Zone!!!

What do you mean? Charge Method or Deposit Method?

Connor here, thanks for reaching out.

I totally understand the frustration, but I will be happy to help.

Can you verify the phone number on your account, it is listed on this page.

If that is incorrect, you will need to change it by edit or adding the address.

Also, does your Amazon Buyer and Seller account share the same e-mail address? I have my own seller account, when when you get a prompt for bank change or to assign it, you get a text message to your registered phone number.

Make sure that if you share the same e-mail, that the buyer one is up to date then re-try to assign deposit method. If you still get the internal error, try from another device or browser (Chrome and Firefox work best).

As alternative, you can also add a new deposit method. It is on the same page where you assign the current one. Here is the link for it.

Please let me know if you still have issues after you've tried these steps.
