Escalation - Wanted to refund the customer but Amazon canceled it

We seem to be caught in a loop. Our customer has already reached out to the "Amazon customer support" and they were informed that your team declined to take any responsibility for this non-returnable item during their initial attempt to return it.

Now, irrespective of whether the item has been returned or not, or if it has been fulfilled by FBA, as sellers, we would like to initiate the refund on our end. Therefore, we kindly request that you refrain from canceling our refunds.

As we appear to be encountering a recurring issue and receiving repetitive responses, could we kindly request to ESCALATE THIS CONCERN TO YOUR "LEADERSHIP TEAM" for further investigation?

What you are wanting will not happen from here - this is a forum of other sellers and not Amazon itself.

You would need to open a case with Seller Support, but to be honest, I doubt it will have any effect whatsoever, as firstly they will not understand your issue, and secondly give you a cut and paste irrelevant reply !!!

If the item is non-returnable, then Amazon will issue the refund. If they do return an item then it will be refunded on first scan, or you can choose to refund yourself, but that will affect your metrics (I think).

What you are wanting will not happen from here - this is a forum of other sellers and not Amazon itself.

You would need to open a case with Seller Support, but to be honest, I doubt it will have any effect whatsoever, as firstly they will not understand your issue, and secondly give you a cut and paste irrelevant reply !!!

If the item is non-returnable, then Amazon will issue the refund. If they do return an item then it will be refunded on first scan, or you can choose to refund yourself, but that will affect your metrics (I think).
