Business type change - Sole Proprietorship to a Private Limited Company
Hi everyone,
We are currently transitioning Our Amazon Seller Central account from a Proprietorship to a Private Limited Company, and we need to update a few key details:
Business Type: I need to change this from Proprietorship to Private Limited Company.
GSTIN: I need to update the GST number associated with my account.
PAN: I need to replace the current PAN with my company’s PAN.
We are unable to make this change in the account so We contacted the seller support but they are asking us to create a whole new account with the new information
We have lots of sales history and lots of Listings in the current account . We dont want to lose this account.
@amazonsupport : is there any way to do this transitioning within the same account ?

Hi,
We also had the same problem, but the soltuion is only one: Create a new acccount. We had waited 6 months thinking of any possibilities. Better you start migrating your brand one by one from old to new account

its not possible actually due to change in PAN card details. I have been through this phase before.
The best you can do, you just copied these SKU in your new account and inactivate the SKUs in proprietor account. this way you wont loose the reviews as well.

create another account and do mapping of all the listings , if you do not want to create new listings , all will work fine as older.

As I checked, you are in contact with the Seller Support Team, and they are waiting for your final documents.
Please note that they will not be able to review your documents and advise you if they are correct, so please work with your tax advisor to make sure that you send them the correct final documents.
You can reopen the case that you are in contact with them once you are ready to send documents.
