Featured Offer Eligibility Issues

Hello,

I would appreciate some advice on an issue I am currently facing.

I am a new seller, and currently have 3 ASINS listed, all of which are stating that I am not eligible for featured offer. However, I cannot figure out why this might be.

I have read through Amazon's eligibility criteria and can confirm:

  • I am selling on a professional plan.
  • Am an FBA seller. (According to Amazon, this makes you automatically eligible for featured offer).
  • Lowest price on all listings and competitively priced in relation to listings outside of Amazon.
  • Account is in good health.

Just to reiterate, my question is in regards to actually becoming eligible for featured offer, rather than winning the featured offer.

I have raised several cases with seller support, but receive the same copy/paste responses in regards to "not being able to discuss the algorithm".

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Hello,

I think I have the same problem. New seller, professional plan, FBA seller but cannot get the buy box (not eligible for featured offer).

I did exactly the same thing in the US marketplace last year and didn't have this problem. Kindly share your experience with me if you have figured it out. I will if I do.

hello, facing the same issue. 15 asins including my PL products have no to featured offer. Support giving the scripted response.

Hurting sales as getting no bb at all. Losing BSR on PL products too.

I have been selling for a year now and always been featured offer eligible. However, yesterday all of my ASINS have now become ineligible. If an Amazon Mod could please look into this as it is destroying my sales also. ID 9751757342

Following the agreement reached recently with the Competition and Markets Authority, which covers the Amazon store in the UK, we will update the Featured Offer criteria in May 2024 for the UK store.

As we strive to show our customers the best Featured Offer on the product detail page, we'll continue to ensure that the criteria used to determine the Featured Offer are non-discriminatory and treat sellers and Amazon retail equally. Eligibility for Prime and the Prime badge won't be a criterion when determining the Featured Offer. Prime will continue to offer free and fast delivery which are factors that customers value and therefore are relevant in determining the Featured Offer."
