Potential High Pricing error
Within the last three days I have received a number of potential high pricing errors on products that I have been selling for awhile now. Amazon used to catch this when I was making the listing and I could adjust before shipping into FBA. It doesn't make sense to me that I have been selling these products for some time now, pricing them competitively with other sellers, and all of a sudden I start getting hit with these high pricing errors. The products I sell are discontinued so in most cases the going price for them is triple what the original retail price was. Does Amazon ever adjust the catalog to current going price? I have done some product research throughout other platforms and there is no one selling these products for as low as what Amazon wants me to list them at. Any information helps, thank you.

Nope, not a chance in the world for them to think that scarce stuff MIGHT actually sell for more than a 'list price' from 20 years ago.
Have you put in a min/max price? Sometimes that fixes it. If not, since these are ancient, put in $99.99 as the "suggested retail" since there won't be anything to show that is not correct.

Could also be that someone didn't get the message (that is, how supply and demand work in a free marketplace)-
They could've stumbled upon a gross of this marked discountinued and discounted and they blew them out last week or so...
Amazon picked that up and VIOLA! that's the new competitive price until Amazon's Bot decides it's not... which may be never....

Hey @Seller_FSjhmsE9zhIDO, there isn't a whole lot I can comment on when it comes to pricing, but what I can do is point you to this help page which provides troubleshooting instructions for potential high pricing errors.
