Amazon A-Z Claim Allows Fraud
We had a customer claim they never received their order valued at $1200. Amazon approved A to Z and refunded order.
Customer told us in message: "I received the package" and then stopped responding.
Now, Amazon tells us that only the customer can reverse the claim. However, the customer is happy that they got a free $1200 item and they won't respond.
MOD, please help. This is madness.

How about that.
Amazon loves making the buyer happy, and there are thousands of them out there who know how to scam the system. All anybody has to do is call Customer Service and complain, and they get a full refund on the spot.
If the amount was $12 Amazon would reimburse you, but with two more zeros, $1200, it is not going to happen. You will have to open a Mediation case to receive the reimbursement.

Hello @Seller_xGoCZWi4ciH8M
Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.
I came across your thread and wanted to inquire whether you received resolution on your concern. Please note that if Amazon grants a Claim in favor of a customer, you have 30 days to appeal and request a further investigation. Based on the results of the appeals investigation, Amazon will make a decision on whether to reverse the initial decision and reimburse you for the Claim incurred. If you have already appealed and still need additional assistance, please feel free to provide the related order ID number to this thread and I can review the correspondence already provided.
Regards,
