Restriced Products Bamboo Issue - Seller Support Running Me In Circles
Some of my ASINs are wrongly being caught up in the Textile Products Identification Act (“Act”) listing requirements, thought they are not bamboo textiles.
I’ve tried to explain this to seller support over and over again that as these are not a textile, I am unable to update percentages of the bamboo and rayon or viscose of the product to the detail pages – Because they are not made of Rayon or Viscose and are not a textile.
The items are made of bamboo pulp and bamboo powder – but are not a textile, meaning what they are asking me to do in order to reinstate the ASINs is impossible.
I’m really in a bind here and cannot seem to get the point across to seller support that these items are not bamboo textile items and wrongly tied up in the Textile Products Identification Act non compliant listing flagging’s.
I’m really not sure what to do and this is hurting my business tremendously. If my items were textiles, they would be complaint. The fact they are not textiles and seller support doesn’t understand this – makes it impossible to be compliant with what they are asking as this does not apply to my products.
I've even read through the entire Textile Products Identification Act link provided by Amazon on the FTC page . By the very definitions in the "definitions" section of the link, my products do not apply to this.
Looking for insight or help to get this resolved.

Directly from the FTC Textile Products Act Page further proving my items are not textile products:
§ 70. Definitions
As used in this subchapter -
(a) The term "person" means an individual, partnership, corporation, association or any other form of business enterprise.
(b) The term "fiber" or "textile fiber" means a unit of matter which is capable of being spun into a yarn or made into a fabric by bonding or by interlacing in a variety of methods including weaving, knitting, braiding, felting, twisting, or webbing, and which is the basic structural element of textile products.
(c) The term "natural fiber" means any fiber that exists as such in the natural state.
(d) The term "manufactured fiber" means any fiber derived by a process of manufacture from any substance which, at any point in the manufacturing process, is not a fiber.
(e) The term "yarn" means a strand of textile fiber in a form suitable for weaving, knitting, braiding, felting, webbing, or otherwise fabricating into a fabric.
(f) The term "fabric" means any material woven, knitted, felted, or otherwise produced from, or in combination with, any natural or manufactured fiber, yarn, or substitute therefor.
(g) The term "household textile articles" means articles of wearing apparel, costumes and accessories, draperies, floor coverings, furnishings, beddings, and other textile goods of a type customarily used in a household regardless of where used in fact.
(h) The term "textile fiber product" means -
(1) any fiber, whether in the finished or unfinished state, used or intended for use in household textile articles;
(2) any yarn or fabric, whether in the finished or unfinished state, used or intended for use in household textile articles; and
(3) any household textile article made in whole or in part of yarn or fabric; except that such term does not include a product required to be labeled under the Wool Products Labeling Act of 1939 (15 U.S.C. 68 et seq.).
(i) The term "affixed" means attached to the textile fiber product in any manner.
(j) The term "Commission" means the Federal Trade Commission.
(k) The term "commerce" means commerce among the several States or with foreign nations, or in any Territory of the United States or in the District of Columbia, or between any such Territory and another, or between any such Territory and any State or foreign nation or between the District of Columbia and any State or Territory or foreign nation.
(l) The term "Territory" includes the insular possessions of the United States, and also any Territory of the United States.
(m) The term "ultimate consumer" means a person who obtains a textile fiber product by purchase or exchange with no intent to sell or exchange such textile fiber product in any form

Same thing just happened to me. I had 4 ASINS removed from the catalog.
I am not well educated so I have no idea what Rayon or Viscose is.
I know I have to identify which one it is.
I hope to, eventually, learn which one I am selling. However, my game plan is to identify that my bamboo products are the most common...once I figure out which one that is.
My goal is to reinstate the ASINS now and correct the information later on.

We are dealing with this as well.
3 of our ASINs are wrongly restricted. Ours are 100% cotton, and in the listing, the only thing we've EVER mentioned is "100% cotton". There has never been any mention of bamboo, or any bamboo-adjacent products.
Just stuck in a loop with support and not sure where to go from here.

The Textile Product Identification Act requires proper display of fiber content for all bamboo textile products. Michelle at Amazon here. I have reviewed your listings from the case and do not see any restrictions. I do see however that you have deleted the items from your inventory. You will need to use a full inventory file that is category specific to relist your items and then they should match back up to the original ASIN's. If you have issues, please create a case with Seller Support so they can take a look. Ensure you provide them with your batch ID so they can investigate any issues you may have.

There are in still fact restrictions on the ASINS mentioned in that case & I would not nor have ever deleted those items from my inventory.
In all of my appeals on those ASINS & in the account health dashboard, I get the same answer/explanation of:

Again, these items are not bamboo textiles and are not made from synthetic fibers in any way.
As extra evidence to prove they are in fact restricted and not deleted from my inventory by me, please see the image attached.

I have the same issue. stuck with bamboo restriction and Amazon deleted my listing. Tried to explain them that my product has no bamboo cotton but Seller Support do not understand. There is no clear way to list the material while we create a listing that someone at Amazon will understand. Stuck with the inventory at Amazon. my product is 100 % cotton but no one at seller support understand..

I have the same issues here. I have about 30 ASINs and all were marked as discontinued by Amazon, we've appealed via AHD and got the same canned response.
The titles containing "bamboo" are all removed from our inventory, they asked us to remove "bamboo", but the word "bamboo" is the company name or the pattern, there are no materials containing "bamboo".
Just stuck in a loop with support and not sure where to go from here.
