Item Refunded and Free Replacement Given

I've been deep-diving into Amazon reports, and something's got me scratching my head. While comparing the Transactions report, FBA Customer Returns report, and Replacements report, I noticed a few order IDs that got the full refund treatment and also scored a free replacement. 🤔

Anyone in the know on how this wizardry can happen? Is there a policy allowing customers to snag both a full refund and a complimentary replacement for the same order ID?

I've been playing email tag with Seller Support, but they treat the refund and replacement as separate matters, but no clear answer on why both were dished out for the same order.
