I am facing a serious issue with my product listing on Amazon, and despite multiple attempts to resolve it with Seller Support, I haven’t been able to get a proper resolution. I am hoping that someone here has encountered a similar issue and can offer guidance.
The Problem:
I created and listed my product with ASIN: B00R3JPBHI under my registered brand Gadgetmarket. I have full ownership of this listing, and it was created by me. However, one morning I woke up to find that my product’s brand name had been changed to LDREAMAM without my permission. I never made this change, nor did I authorize anyone else to do so.
What I Have Done So Far:
I immediately contacted Amazon Seller Support and opened a case (Case ID: 16911434441). I followed every step they provided, including:
• Submitting proof of ownership (Brand Registry, invoices, etc.)
• Requesting a reinstatement of my brand name
• Explaining that I never authorized any brand change
• Asking Amazon to investigate who changed the listing
Despite all this, Amazon is now asking me for approval to sell my own product under this new unauthorized brand! This is completely unacceptable because I am the original seller who created this listing.
Why This Is a Major Concern
1. Unauthorized Changes to Listings: If a brand name can be changed without the owner’s consent, this means that any listing is vulnerable to manipulation.
2. Amazon’s Ineffective Support: Even after providing all requested documents, Amazon has not reverted the change.
3. Unfair Approval Requirement: I am now being asked to get approval to sell a product under a brand name that I never used or registered.
My Request to the Amazon Community & Amazon Support
Has anyone experienced a similar issue where their listing’s brand name was changed without consent? If so, how did you resolve it? I need urgent help to escalate this matter because Seller Support has not been able to fix the issue.
Additionally, I request that Amazon Support take this issue seriously. Sellers should not be penalized for unauthorized listing changes made by others.
