A pathetic ecommerce platform is amazon now

🔴 Amazon Seller Support Ki Major Problems:

1. Delayed Resolution – 2-3 mahine tak cases pending rehna common hai, especially for missing/lost-in-transit items.

2. Zero Accountability in Transit – Product gum ho gaya toh Amazon FBA ho ya self-ship, last mein seller hi bharega.

3. Template Replies – Seller support sirf scripted jawab deta hai, real solution nahi milta.

4. High Returns + Damage – Buyers return karte hain used ya damaged item, aur refund bina investigation ke ho jata hai.

🟠 Why Sellers are Moving to Other Platforms:

Instagram/Facebook Shops – Direct customer interaction, better margins, no commission.

JioMart, Meesho, Shopsy – Lower seller fees, and better onboarding support.

Own Website (Shopify/WordPress) – Full control, branding ka mauka, repeat customers retain karne ka option.

YES, I AGREE COMPLETELY.

We started with amazon a few months back and even after selling hundreds of units, we are still in loss simply because of customer returns. Amazon refunds to customer and charges us for return fare as well and on top of it they even add refund processing charges.

Most of the profit is eaten up by amazon itself and we keep bearing all the losses.

We had hoped for a fair and transparent platform and after working with them, sadly Amazon is no where near our expectations. E-bay would be a much better choice than amazon and we are planning to shift our business soon.

Yes, Customer is important, but so is seller, one cannot focus entirely on customer while neglecting sellers all together.

a fair platform should be considerate of both sides.

all in all, our amazon experience as a seller has been nothing short of a nightmare. It is better to be on the buying side rather than be on the selling side when it comes to amazon.
