Packing in Easy Ship Option
Hi,
I am a new seller and opted for easy shipping. I want to know if I need to print the packing slip, invoice and also pack it in a packet before handing over to the Amazon pickup guy. Also, do I need to pack in Amazon packing material.
Please provide inputs.

Hey Urmila,
You need to print two things.
- The “tax invoice”, insert it inside the package.
- “Packing Slip” a.k.a., “Shipping label” and stick it on top of the packaging material.
And as for your question if you should pack it in Amazon Packaging Material, the answer is not necessary.
You can use your own packaging as long as it is in a “shippable” state. There is no hard and fast rule that you HAVE to use their packaging material.

how can I as a seller reduce the shipping cost if actual weight of product is 800 grams and volumetric weight is 4.8 kg?
This issue doesn’t allow me to competitively price my product on amazon.
