Just curious if anyone wants to share the secret. :)

I am under the impression that as sellers, we must ship with tracking. I make small items that can easily fit in an envelope. The best prices I can find to ship that envelope with tracking is between $3 and $4 depending on the zones.

However, I find other sellers, selling small items like mine for under $3 with free shipping. And it's not just one guy who can't do math. it is dozens if not hundreds of sellers. I understand when the item is coming out of Asia that those sellers get cheaper rates than us from the USPS, but many of these sellers are from the US.

How are people shipping items with tracking for less than $3. Actually, even with very little product cost, they still have to pay Amazon. So, they have less than $2.65 total to pay for the product and ship. In some cases, I see them selling at $1.99.

Is there an Amazon program I am not aware of that allows for no tracking on small items?

What is the secret?
