Japan Marketplace Deactivated

Hi,

I sell mainly in the US Marketplace. Recently, I saw that the Japan Marketplace is marked as "Unhealthy store" and has been deactivated.

But I never opened that Marketplace nor planning to do so.

Does this could have an impact on my US Store account health ?

Hi there @Seller_YVssO9IUVpEHh,

I appreciate you utilizing the Seller Forums!

"I sell mainly in the US Marketplace. Recently, I saw that the Japan Marketplace is marked as "Unhealthy store" and has been deactivated.

I understand you h ave recently discovered your Japan marketplace account is deactivated yet you have never opened nor plan to utilize that storefront.

Do you know if you could have selected global selling when you registered your account? Often times this is what occurs when other marketplace accounts are related to your main selling account.

It could be that you simply never finished the registration process for the Japan marketplace. What you will need to do is login to that marketplace account and complete the steps provided in the performance notification on that account. This type of situation has been more prevalent here on the forums lately, so please do correct me if I am incorrect in my assumption!

If you never finished the global seller identity verification, you will want to do so in order to reactivate the account.

If you discover that this is not the issue and there is different information on the Japan marketplace account, please do provide that information here so the forums community and I may support you to the best of our ability.

Per Amazon's Seller Code of Conduct and Multiple Accounts policy, all associated accounts must remain in good standing at all times. If one is deactivated, will be deactivated and remain so until the root of the issue is resolved. This also applies to other marketplace accounts, too. So, in short, yes- this can and eventually will have an impact on your US store and account.
