FBA not shipped on time - Customer Returns

Customer orders 3 units between 2 SKUs on 4th August for "Second Day" shipping service. Order page says Amazon's Ship By: Mon, Aug 7, 2023

  • FBA ships 1 unit on 5th August and 2 units on the 8th August.
  • The return was authorised on 8th August with reason "Item was not received by estimated delivery date"
  • Clearly the customer did not receive the second package when the return was authorised and certainly the order was late.

Is this not a fulfilment issue? Why would then Amazon short changes us for the shipping and returns? Shouldn't this scenario be net zero to us?

Does this warrant a claim to reimburse us for the fee charged?

You should check the expected delivery date, not the shipping date.

Amazom may ship on the 8th, and item delivered the same day.

Based on your description of events, I would advocate for opening a case with support on this. Let me know if you've already done this, and what it's current status is!
