Return Reason "Performance or quality not adequate"
This might be an obvious answer but i thought i would check with people. We have a return for return reason "Performance or quality not adequate" which of course is different to "item defective". Its not a return reason we get very often.
My question is, would it be fair to charge a restocking fee for the item if it is returned used?
I wouldn't usually charge a restocking fee for a defective item but the item has not been marked defective, they have marked it that they don't like the quality (which in itself feels more like a change of mind return reason in my eyes)

Hello @Seller_RnoJYdlqCE5Tw
Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.
If the item is returned outside of Amazon's return policy or in used, damaged, or materially different condition, you can charge a restocking fee per the guidelines listed here. It is advisable to communicate with the buyer via buyer-seller messages regarding the fee to mitigate a negative feedback or A-Z Claim being opened. Please feel free to update this thread if you need additional assistance.
Regards,
