Chargeback Fraud After Full Delivery AND Received a Replacement
Case ID: 17790324971
We are raising a serious concern about a fraudulent buyer who abused Amazon’s A-to-Z and chargeback system, and Amazon’s failure (so far) to protect us as a seller—despite full compliance and proof of delivery through Amazon Shipping.
🔴 THE FRAUD SCENARIO:
- Buyer Name: John [REDACTED]
- Ship-to Address: Lockport, NY 14094
- Original Order ID: 113-7921108-4440241
- Shipped via Amazon Shipping
- Tracking: TBA319868394784
- Delivered on March 16, 2025 at 11:14 AM PDT to front door (Amazon-confirmed OTDR scan)
- Product: Espoma GL6 Garden Lime Soil Amendment (Qty: 2)
- Refund: $68.48 issued via chargeback
- Label: OTDR and Claims Protected (Veeqo)
Buyer falsely claimed non-receipt and filed a chargeback AFTER confirmed delivery.
🟡 BUT THAT’S NOT ALL:
Buyer then placed a REPLACEMENT ORDER and received double the product.
- Replacement Order ID: 113-0447941-4347454
- Tracking: TBA320084768480
- Delivered on March 21, 2025 at 10:29 AM PDT
- Identical product, same quantity
Buyer kept BOTH shipments (4 units total) and paid $0.
🧾 Supporting Case:
Amazon Case ID: 17790324971
Submitted with:
✅ Amazon Tracking Proof
✅ Delivery Events
✅ Replacement Order Timeline
✅ OTDR protection confirmation
✅ Screenshots of refund and shipment tracking
🚨 FRAUDULENT PATTERN:
This is a blatant abuse of Amazon’s system. As sellers, we:
- Shipped via Amazon Shipping
- Followed all policy rules
- Provided full tracking + proof of delivery
- Are still losing money due to buyer fraud
Yet, Amazon has not reversed the chargeback or penalized the buyer.

Par for the course here now. My fraud is nearly up 700% over this time last year and I have received zero help here on the forums (from mods) over the past 3 months.
I believe Amazon is letting their US based mods go and replacing them with overseas mods to further infuriate sellers by no-longer giving them any path to higher escalation.
I am seeing new mods appear with foreign names like "Minerva" for example. On top of this you cannot tag these mods in posts or responses.
The ship is sinking further and further.

Hello @Seller_7gLMPh7d2HtKE,
I apologize for the late reply here.
Chargeback are extremely hard to overturn but please allow me to connect with our internal team on your case. I will post here any new findings.
