Changed phone number - can't get OTP codes

Hello, thank you for reading. I was recently a fraud victim, so my phone provider changed my phone number on the fly, so I don't have access to my old phone to receive OTP codes. Has this happened to anyone and what was the resolution? I can't get into Login Settings because it sends an OTP code.

thank you,

Jen

If you don't get any better answers try this...

Go to the buyer side of your account and turn off the OTP aspect.

Then log out, and try to log in to the seller side. I believe it will block your log in and make you set up OTP. You may be able to edit or set it up differently.

A different approach.

Use an authenticator instead of SMS.

Not sure you can do it without first activating SMS.

Why you don't just buy a SIM card with the same number you had? What means "fraud victim" and why would this forbid you to use the same number? If necessary buy an old mobile JUST for amazon purposes with this old "fraud" number.
