Sending Oversized Products to Amazon FBA
What are my options in sending in oversized product inventory to Amazon FBA facilities? The dimension of my product is 110x100x30 inches.
I'd like to ship them on pallets but from what I understand, the maximum pallet dimensions are 40x48x72 inches.
Thanks!

Hey @Seller_GoMDFPrP7JaTe, I was able to find a contact to confirm and greatly appreciate your patience. Based on your dim and weight this should be able to be sent to heavy-bulky stabilized on a 72"x40' pallet (or 96" x 48", if needed for some reason). If you have any "heavy" stickers like airports or other warehouses do I don't see harm in labeling as such but that's a known quantity when going into those channels already. I don't have any knowledge or expertise on the carrier side specifically but once you align that you should be good to go!

Hi @TRUENORTH
Thanks for the post. Including a quick read on Preparing Shipment to Amazon.
Best regards and enjoy your weekend.

In the link you shared, it says the following:
1. Boxes on pallets must not overhang the pallet edge
2. Non-stackable pallets cannot exceed 72 inches in height
My product is large oversized and therefore will overhang the pallet edge and will exceed 72 inches in height. How can I ship this product into Amazon?

Hey @Seller_GoMDFPrP7JaTe, I recommend checking out Extra-large FBA inventory.
Hope that helps and points you in the right direction!

Thanks for sharing this. However, it doesn't include details on how to ship these to Amazon. Can these be sent on pallets? If so, what are the pallet weight/dimensions maximums?
Also, does Amazon provide any partner carrier capabilities for the shipment of extra-large inventory?
Thank you!

Hey @Seller_GoMDFPrP7JaTe, as I understand it from the help page this line should be applicable to your item dims:
If the item length is 96 inches or more, it’s not required to be classified as Ships in own container (SIOC).
There's likely nuance with your LTL shipments based on the item and safe handling. For instance, is your item able to be moved by forklift/pallet jack if palletized? Which side does the item sit on? What is the weight? I assume this is your first FBA shipment, and given the cubic dims you list from my experience I would be surprised to see that item as safely moved/stored on a standard pallet, but possibly on an extended (typically 8') pallet. If you give me some more details I'll try to do some more digging.

Hi Topher,
The unit in its packaging is 77lbs and the dimensions are 70 x 29 x 5 inches. The product must sit flat on the longest side and it will be able to be moved by forklift and pallet jack if palletized.
Based on the dimensions, it will not fit on the standard Amazon pallet size of 48 x 40 inches.
Does Amazon allow for larger pallets for inbound shipments for extra-large sized products? If so, what are the specifications and limitations of these pallets? Does Amazon offer any partner carriers freight solutions for inbound Amazon FBA shipments of these extra-large sized palletized products? Finally, are there any additional stickers/labels that I need to apply to them?
The extra-large FBA inventory page is quite vague and doesn't give further details in the same way it does for standard and over-sized inventory.
Thank you!

@Seller_GoMDFPrP7JaTe Replying here before the weekend to let you know I haven't lost sight of this and am still working to confirm. I will update as I know more!

@Seller_pPjVeGoDrVnxh have you previously sent in any shipments? Is this an existing ASIN for your use case?
Seller_pPjVeGoDrVnxh
No, we have never send in anything over the pallet size. Most of my product packaging are within Amazon pallet size 48"x40"x 72" requirement. Except this one packaging size 54"Lx24"Wx4"H. Seller support advise just label it correctly and ship but we hesitate cause per Amazon guidelines they will reject your pallet.
