Reseller asking for Brand Registry status
One of our customers has asked if we will register them as a reseller on our brand registry. They provided their Merchant Token details.
What "power" does this allow them over our listing, descriptions, etc ?
Do they have the ability to change product descriptions and add images ?
Does this preclude our other approved vendors from getting similar status ?

Hello @Seller_3HBVnjY2SJU9m
My name is Sandy from the Community Manager team.
As the reseller role, you are giving the rights to an external, third-party seller authorized by the brand to sell goods and services on Amazon.
You can visit this page to learn more! Brand Registry Selling & Protection Roles!
As the reseller they will have authorization and have access to enhance product detail pages, access new seller incentives, access Brand Stores, Sponsored brands and able to add product videos.
For your question below, it will depend on what role your vendors have as well.
You can also visit this page for more info as well: Manage selling roles and brand benefits

Don't do it! Save yourself the headache. Don't share your Merchant Token with anyone.
