Copyright loophole !!!! Free to use any images on Amazon website.

So..... I was about to report copyright infringement to Amazon.... but I can't. Copyrighted material in question used on A+ content (product description) by competitor and Amazon only allows to report "product" images. Go ahead and try it yourself, it is not possible to do.

How can I protect myself now?

You can report the entire listing as a copyright infringement violation.

You can do so by following this link.

https://www.amazon.com/report/infringement

Provide your proof and mention its in the A+ content and try that.

It's possible I'm off base here, but I believe Amazon is not interested in copyright infringement unless they have a specific rule for a specific type of violation.

You need an intellectual property lawyer to send the other seller -- and Amazon -- a letter notifying them of the infringement and demanding the image be removed. That *might* get some action from Amazon because they have some exposure because it's on their site. However, if the seller refuses it'll be much cheaper to replace the image than fight it.
