Is Amazon Advantage program dead/dying/no longer accepting subscribers?

I have been trying to join Amazon Advantage, but thinking maybe it's a dead or dying program. While there is a splash page explaining the program, and a linked registration page, it's all very primitive, for example, I get no email acknowledgment that Amazon received my request. The splash page has a "click here" link to check on the status of your enrollment request, but it is a hard link (not a redirect) right back to the same splash page that says "click here" (a circular link as often seen on scam phishing sites).

To top it off, I don't see anything in the Amazon community discussion forum regarding the program that's newer than 4 years ago?

This is making a long story VERY Short, as I haven't explained why I am trying to join. I would really appreciate any insights on the status of the Amazon Advantage programs.

Interested in enrolling in Advantage? Please request registration. While open enrollment is not currently available as we make improvements to the registration and onboarding process, we are beginning to review registration requests and will notify you if you are eligible for enrollment after we review your information.

Could I get a quick show of hands from those who responded to this thread and are Amazon Advantage members, and how many years they have been in the Advantage program?

Okay - Still no acknowledgement emails regarding my enrollment request, but I did manage to get past the splash page and into Advantage subdomain; however, everything there is just as circular/dead as the splash page. There's a "Support" link that looked promising, but it's dead.

I put out a call in the community forum for ANYBODY who has joined Advantage in the last two years to share their experience, but got crickets.
