Notification of Restricted Products Removal
Hi,
We received a notice to remove restricted products (before November 18, 2023) on October 11, 2023, but have since been in contact with Seller Support / Product Safety Team to appeal the restrictions and are now waiting for reinstatement (Check case ID 14033461541 for references).
Does anyone know if Amazon still wants us to proceed with a removal order even though the appeal case is still open? If we don't, will Amazon proceed with inventory disposal? Can we request more time?
It seems like a huge waste of time and money for both parties to proceed with an inventory removal just to send it back immediately after our ASIN is reinstated.

Greetings @Seller_H7hAJ6vc4p693,
Thank you for reaching out with your concerns with your product. At this time the Seller Support team is still appealing with the appropriate team. Please note that it may not be possible to reinstate your product before your product is subject to required removals. Amazon takes restricted products very seriously and the product will not be able to be reinstated if it is in violation or contains content in the images, packaging, or detail page that are prohibited claims.
At this time you can continue to appeal your ASIN, however you should create a removal order if you want to prevent your products from being subject to disposal. An open appeal is not sufficient to prevent a required removal. I apologize for the difficulties this creates. Thank you for your understanding.
