Package returned, buyer not responding.

I recently sold a used book to a buyer who didn't get the package. He asked for a reship, but under tracking it said "forward expired" and then it was returned by USPS. I messaged the buyer saying that his mail forwarding expired and asked him to confirm his shipping address for a reship so this doesn't happen again or if he wanted I could refund him. I have not yet heard back from him and I am wondering what the best course of action here is. As I am a very new seller I do not have many sales yet so any sort of bad feedback or anything to hurt my account health, because now even one would be heavily weighted. Should I continue to wait, reship the package to the same address, or just give him a refund?

Do not reship. Refund either the item price only, or the whole thing if you're feeling generous (I probably wouldn't), and relist it. If you hear back from him eventually, tell him he needs to reorder with the correct address.
