Only want to sell in us

I just signed up for professional and I only want to sell in the USA but it's telling me my professional status is in Mexico. I never selected that. Does it charge you the fee for each market?

I'm currently locked out. It says my charge method is invalid or something even though it said it was fine and let me proceed to register. I don't get what's going on. It's a valid credit card with enough to pay the fee. I'm just starting as a seller so I do not want to pay $40 fee for each country when I have never listed a product yet.

US, CA, MX and Brazil are all under the unified account, the total for all is $39.99/month.

Be sure to put Mexico, Canada, and any other marketplaces you do not want to sell in on Vacation. Otherwise, you may find Amazon copying over one of your listings without telling you, and you get an order.

If you have no listings in the other marketplaces, the total fee should be deducted only from your .com account; if you start seeing charges from other countries, go into the Manage Inventory for that marketplace and delete any listings.

Regardless, the total amount charged is the same, with minor variance due to exchange rate fluctuations.

The charge method needs to be a regular credit card. No prepaid or debits cards are typically accepted.

It also must:

  • Match the name and address on your seller account
  • Be internationally chargeable
